Popcorn for Lunch

Mr Frank is working nights for a couple of weeks and that's nice for me because he has time during the day to play. Yesterday we had a late lunch/early dinner and today we were considering a movie. We have gift certificates so it will only be half as outrageous to afford to go. What to see?

I love You, Man
Battle for Terra in 3D
Monsters vs Aliens 3D
Ghost of Girlfriends Past
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Hannah Montana: The Movie
State of Play
The Soloist
Obsessed
Fighting
Knowing
17 Again
earth

These are our choices. I told Mr. Frank that Angels & Demons would be out soon and he suggested it would be a great big screen presentation. I'm not sure what "Coming Soon" is all about but let the drum roll begin.

  1. I'm all over the place here, but I'd go see Earth or I Love You Man! Can't wait to get to English Canada so I can see the movies again!

  2. Btw, from the trailers, Angels and Demons looks pretty good. IMHO, Ron Howard ruined Davinci Code.

  3. He did? I didn't know. I'm going to sneak out to see earth, that just has to be huge beauty for the Big Screen.

  4. I can't wait to see that! I should go on a road trip. Well, the thing with Davinci Code was that allegidly, there was a race to get it in theatres to ride the wave of the book's popularity and it was rushed. Compared to the book, it kind of sucks! But they took more time to film Angels and Demons, thank goodness because it's my fave of Dan Brown's novels! Oh btw, that post Fork in the road, I clicked on publish by accident, it's not ready yet, so I'll have it by tomorrow, thanks for being anxious to read it! Hee hee!

  5. I vote for X-Men: Wolverine. Love, love, love me some Hugh Jackman.

Angels & Demons is supposed to be better than DaVinci Code. Can't wait for that one either. My youngest son is a big fan as well.

  7. Are we voting? The Soloist. I love Robert Downey, Jr. in anything. He has so much soul, wow.

    Looking forward to movie reviews.

  8. Hmmm - I love sci-fi, (Wolverine), but I think you need to decide what your mood is at the moment. I agree that when you can only go to the movie on occasion that things on the big screen would be my pick. (We only go on occasion - the last one was the latest Bond movie.)
